Fuel by Jurisdiction Report

Overview

The Fuel by Jurisdiction Report is used to determine the amount of fuel purchased in each jurisdiction for each vehicle. You can view the Fuel by Jurisdiction Report on your screen, print the report, or export the report data in PDF or CSV format. See The Reports Screen for general information about running a report.

Per regulation, and to assist in an auditing process, IFTA report data is retained for a minimum of six years.

The table below provides the path to the report and shows the reporting period and range.

Report Location Reports tab > Fuel by Jurisdiction
Data Retention Data is retained for six years.
Maximum Reporting Period 92 days or less
Earliest Start Date Earliest date when started or 7 years

Attribute Description
Jurisdiction The name of the jurisdiction where fuel was purchased.
Vehicle ID The vehicle for which fuel was purchased.
Fuel Purchased (gal) Amount of fuel purchased.
Total Fuel (gal) Total Gallons purchased for the Organization/Vehicle.
% in Jurisdiction Total Gallons purchased in State divided by Total Gallons/Liters purchased.

 

At the top of the Fuel By Jurisdiction Report are totals for all listed jurisdictions.
