Vehicle Inspection Report 2.2.11 Release Notes
These release notes describe the new features and enhancements for Vehicle Inspection Report 2.2.11, released in April, 2021.

Requirements
To use Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR), you need Internet Explorer 10, 11, or Edge, Chrome, or FireFox. The VIR application adapts to your monitor's resolution.
Features detailed in this document are available on the following platforms with the indicated firmware.
- MCP50 - 13x
- MCP200/MCP110 - 18x
- IVG - 8x
Note: The MCP100 will not support new VIR features.
New Features and Enhancements
This release includes additional location information in VIR email alerts as well as time zone values in the user interface and reports. The changes are illustrated below.
Location Information Added to VIR Email
The VIR alert email now includes location information. If the location is not available, the email displays latitude and longitude coordinates.

Time Zones Added to Detail Report
Closed Date and Printed Date
The VIR detail now includes the mobile unit's time zone next to the Printed at date, the Closed Date, and the Status.

Approval Date
The Approval Date now includes the time zone of the mobile unit.

VIR Report
In the VIR Report, the time zone displayed reflects the browser time zone.
Note: The vehicle's time zone is not available if the VIR return message from the mobile unit does not send the time zone to the host.

VIR Detail
If the VIR message from the mobile unit does not send the time zone to the host, the time zone next to the date/time field says “Vehicle TZ NA (Not available).”
