The Driver Scorecard report scores a driver based on Hours of Service violations, Critical Event Reporting safety events and Performance Monitoring events that occurred during the selected date range. For this report, you can use the HOS group, PerfMon AdHoc group or Depot. This report can only be run for a single driver.

Note: This report cannot be scheduled.

Score calculations

Compliance/HOS score:

100 - (Compliance Violation count x 1000) / Total Miles
- If a driver incurs 10 violations or more, over 100 total miles or fewer (or the equivalent), the score should be 0.

Safety/CER score:

100 - (Safety Violation count x 1000) / Total Miles
- If a driver incurs 10 events or more, over 100 total miles or fewer (or the equivalent), the score should be 0.

Fuel/Performance Monitoring Score:

MPG

Value: Distance/Fuel

Score: 100 - (100 *((Goal - MPG Value)/(Goal - Minimum)))

Goal: 7 MPG

Minimum: 5.6 MPG (20% below Goal)

Cruise Control%

Value: (Cruise Control Time / Moving Time) x 100

Score: 100 - (100 *((Goal – Cruise Control Value)/(Goal - Minimum)))

Goal: 25%

Minimum: 20% (20% below Goal)

Over Rev%

Value: (Over RPM Time / Engine Time) x 100

Score: 100 – (100 *((Over Rev Value – Goal)/(Maximum - Goal)))

Goal: 25%

Maximum: 30% (20% above Goal)

Over Speed%

Value: (Overspeed Time / Moving Time) x 100

Score: 100 - (100 *((Overspeed Value – Goal)/(Maximum - Goal)))

Goal: 10%

Maximum: 12% (20% above Goal)

Top Gear%

Value: (Top Gear Time / Moving Time) x 100

Score: 100 – (100 *((Top Gear Value – Goal)/(Maximum - Goal)))

Goal: 60%

Maximum: 72% (20% above Goal)

Total Idle%

Value: ((ENGINE TIME – MOVING TIME) / ENGINE TIME) * 100
Score: 100 - (100 *((Idle Value – Goal)/(Maximum – Goal)))

Goal: 30%

Maximum: 36% (20% above Goal)

** In each case, if the score is better than the goal, we use 100%. If the value comes out less than 0, we use 0.

Total Fuel Score – This is the average across all the scores that are available. Each individual score is weighted equally into the Total Fuel Score.

Score: (MPG Score + Cruise Control Score + Over Rev Score + Over Speed Score + Top Gear Score + Total Idle Score)/6

Overall score:

Average of all scores for applications a customer is subscribed.
