Create a Notification

In Vehicle Diagnostics, notifications let you define a set of fault or tire events to monitor and a person (email recipient) to be notified when a fault condition is reported.

1. Click Settings, then click Notifications.
2. Click Add.

   A new record opens below the list (above the Add button).

3. Note: Vehicle Diagnostics does not validate that the email address belongs to a user account with access to the application.

   Type the recipient's full email address.
4. Select the filter for this recipient to receive notifications. If you want the user to receive notifications for more than one filter, add additional notifications.
5. If applicable, select the group that includes the vehicles for which you want the recipient to receive notifications. Leave the Group field blank for the recipient to receive notification of the filtered conditions for all vehicles (based on global group membership).
6. Select the user's time zone.
7. Click Save.
