Performance Monitoring Permissions

Can use Performance Monitoring

Check to allow users assigned to this role access to Performance Monitoring.

Can maintain vehicles and drivers

Check to allow the user to manage vehicles, drivers, and management groups. Also controls whether the user can send a bulk extract request in the Vehicle page. A bulk extract request lets the user send a manual request for all of the vehicles currently listed. For example, the user can click to display the number of failed vehicles to list them, then send a bulk extract request to resend the request to the failed vehicles.
If a restricted user is granted this permission (in the user's role, the MISC permission "Can see data for all assets" is not checked), the user can work only with vehicles and drivers that are members of his or her global groups. Management groups appear only if at least one selected, authorized vehicle or driver is in the list. However, the user can edit or delete a management group that appears, whether or not he or she can see all of the assets in the group. It is recommended that unrestricted users ("Can see data for all assets" is checked in their role) be given this permission.

Can maintain performance targets

Check to allow the user to edit the performance targets on the Dashboard that are used for comparison to actual data in Fuel Manager charts.

Can maintain setup/configuration

Check to allow users to manage configuration and administration of the system, including extract cycles, purge parameters, and matrix report preferences. Also controls whether the user can send a bulk resend parameters request and change the next extract date and time in the Vehicles page. A bulk resend request lets the user resend vehicle type and fleetwide overrange parameters for all of the vehicles currently listed. For example, the user can search to list the number of vehicles that failed to receive new parameters, then resend the failed parameters to all of the vehicles listed.
If a restricted user is granted this permission (in the user's role, the MISC permission "Can see data for all assets" is not checked), the user see only the vehicles that are members of his or her global groups. The restricted user may not see all of the vehicles that failed to receive new parameters. It is recommended that unrestricted users ("Can see data for all assets" is checked in their role) be given this permission.

Note: If users need to run reports, also check Can view offline reports in the Misc section.
