Maintain Life-to-Date Information

Life-to-date information includes a vehicle's moving time, distance, and fuel used. The life-to-date panel shows the vehicle's values when Performance Monitoring was enabled on the mobile unit, and the accumulated values since it was enabled. Use the life-to-date information to properly credit initial and accumulated values for a vehicle; for example, if a vehicle has existing mileage prior to enabling Performance Monitoring or if you had to move a mobile unit from one vehicle to another.

Your role must be granted the permission "Can maintain vehicles and drivers," and the vehicle must be in your selected, authorized list based on global group membership. The information below your name on the right tells you which assets you are working with. Click the linked text to view and change your global group filter.

You should maintain life-to-date information if you want to see accumulated totals on the Life-to-Date Vehicle Log report.

1. Click Vehicles.
2. Locate the vehicle to maintain in the list and click to select it.
3. Click edit.
4. Update the Life-to-Date Details as needed.
5. Click save.
