# of Failed Vehicles
The number of vehicles that failed to receive the delivery in previous send attempts.
> of Groups
The number of groups specified to receive this delivery.
# of Vehicles
The number of vehicles specified to receive this delivery.
># Failed (of Deliveries)
For a given delivery, the number of files the system attempted but failed to deliver.
# Pending (of Deliveries)
For a given delivery, the number of files that are scheduled for delivery but haven't been sent yet.
Actions (for a list of items)
In a list of items, a column containing clickable icons for taking actions on the item in that row. Typical actions include deleting and editing.
Add Delivery
Click the Add Delivery button to create a new delivery.
Available (Status for a delivery)
The earliest date the delivery can be sent. You specify this value when you add or edit a delivery.
Category (of delivery)
A way to subdivide your deliveries by general content or purpose. Examples: Safety, Company Announcement, Payroll.
Category (of file)
A way to subdivide your files by general content or purpose. Examples: Safety, Company Announcement, Payroll.
Created From (Search panel)
A date field used when searching for specific deliveries. The Created From date specifies the beginning of the time period you want to search.
Created To (Search panel)
A date field used when searching for specific deliveries. The Created To date specifies the end of the time period you want to search.
Delivery
To send a file to a vehicle, you schedule a delivery. The delivery specifies the file to be sent and data associated with it, such as which vehicles should receive it, when it should be sent, when it should expire, and so on.
Deliveries Displayed (delivery list)
The number of deliveries in the currently-displayed list (returned by the Search criteria).
Delivery Method or Delivery Options
When you create a delivery you specify how you want the file to be delivered. For example, you can specify that you do not want the file sent unless Wi-Fi is available. You cannot edit the delivery method for an existing delivery.
Description (of delivery)
Optional text to add more information about the delivery than what is specified in the Subject field.
Description (of file)
Optional text to add information about the file to be included with one or more deliveries.
Expiration
The date after which the delivery will no longer be sent.
File Description
Text to describe the file you are sending for this delivery.
File Name (of delivery)
The file to be delivered.
GO (button on Search panel)
After you enter your search criteria on the search panel, click GO to perform the search.
Group
A way to subdivide your vehicles into sets. Examples include Depot, Reefer, or Subsidiary. You create, edit, and delete groups on the Settings / Groups page.
Last Sent/Fixed (Status for Delivery panel)
The time and date when the delivery was last sent to one or more vehicles.
>Reason (Reason code, Error code)
The reason the delivery has the indicated status, such as failedpending, and so forth. The most common reason codes are:
  • 004, 005, and 007: The delivery is still in process.
  • 100: The unit is not able to display this type of content. For example, this code appears if you attempt to send a video to an MCP100 because the MCP100 does not support videos.
  • 101: The unit has already received this content.

If other reason codes appear, try re-sending the content. If it continues to fail, contact Omnitracs technical support.

Check the box in this column to select the item on that row.
Status for Delivery (pie chart)
For the delivery highlighted in the delivery list, shows the proportion of scheduled files that have been opened, unopened, pending, and failed.
Subject (of a delivery)
The name of the delivery.
Vehicle ID
Your company's commonly-used identifier for the vehicle, such as the truck number. You specify the Vehicle ID when you set up the truck in QTRACS.
Vehicle UA
The serial number of the Omnitracs mobile unit on the vehicle. UA stands for Unit Address.
View Assigned Group (Status for Delivery panel)
Click to see which groups have been assigned to the delivery highlighted in the delivery list. (View only; to edit, click the edit icon in the Actions column of the delivery list.)
View Assigned Vehicles (Status for Delivery panel)
Click to see which vehicles have been assigned to the delivery highlighted in the delivery list. (View only; to edit, click the edit icon in the Actions column of the delivery list.)
