This area allows a customer administrator to set up the thresholds determined by the company. Once the thresholds are set, it applies to all new fuel check data since the initial setting. Only whole numbers can be entered in the fields Fuel Decrease Event Amount and Fuel Increase Event Amount.
Fuel messages use the set thresholds to get flagged as fuel events. Each incoming fuel message gets checked against the previous message for the same unit, and if there is a fuel percent increase or decrease which meets or exceeds the relevant threshold, then it is flagged as a fuel event.
A blank threshold indicates that no events of that type will be checked; it is a mechanism for turning the increase and/or decrease checking off.
