If you purchase units from an Omnitracs partner instead of directly from Omnitracs, you will need to accept the transfer of those units into your account before you begin using them. It is recommended you do this before installing the units in any vehicles. If you purchased your units directly from Omnitracs, you can skip this step.
When you purchase units from an Omnitracs partner you receive an email prompting you to log in to the Customer Portal and accept the transfer of those units. If you do not receive the email or delete it before accepting the transfers you can also log in to the Customer Portal then click Transfers and Accept Transfers.
- Log in to the Customer Portal.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Transfers.
- Under Accept Transfers, click Continue.
- On the Accept Transfers page, click the reference number.
- Review the list of units to be transferred.
- Click Accept.
