PACCAR 2019/2020 trucks:
The RP1226 connector is standard for 2019 and 2020 Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks.  There are a few cases when the truck is ordered with a Cummins engine when the RP1226 is not installed.  So unfortunately, the customer must verify whether the truck has the RP1226 connector before ordering a cable.  If the RP1226 connector is present, Paccar is giving specific instructions to no longer connect at the green 9-pin diagnostic connector.  The presence of the RP1226 connector also means the pin assignments in the green 9-pin diagnostic connectors have been changed so connections made at that location will no longer supply vehicle data.    
The connection at the RP1226 connector goes to the 250K data link for the IVG – there are cases where vehicle traffic on the RP1226 stops transmitting before the an IVG can respond to keep it flowing.  For IVG installs, it’s  recommended that Ignition Sense be disabled (no added wiring - ignition wire is in RP1226 connector) to keep vehicle traffic flowing.   The XRS RP1226 cable is being reworked to mate to the 500K data link.
