Power/VIOP LED

The PWR LED is known as either the Power LED or the VIOP LED. This is used to provide details of OS, App, and VIOP states.

Off:

Power Off

Blinking Red:

VIOP POST Boot Test failed

Blinking Red/Green/Blue:

VIOP POST Boot Test in progress (occurs briefly after a power on)

Blinking Green/Blue:

OS Booting

Blinking Blue:

PAPI link up, app not fully launched (not seen in normal operation)

Blinking Green:

App is up, normal operation, Ignition OFF

Solid Green:

App is up, normal operation, Ignition ON

Blinking Green/Red:

Bus abnormal/off condition
1587 and 1939 both bad, hardwired Ignition ON

Blinking Red/Blue:

VIOSIP Link down for more than 10 seconds

Blinking Red:

Low voltage detected, shutdown in progress (low voltage is set to true at 7.5V and will set back to false when voltage is back above 8.5V)

Solid Red + Blue Blink every 5 seconds:

Boot fail sleep (max launch retries have been exhausted)
(Red remains on the whole time so it will appear purple when blue blinks)

Solid Red:

VIOP running in ISP mode, VIOP update in progress

GPS LED

The GPS LED indicates the AMG-C GPS connection state.

Off:

Power Off

Solid Red:

During Startup – Initial state, GPS not yet initializing (occurs briefly during startup)
After Startup – Indicates GPS failure (may occur following a power dip)
This counts as a ‘failed’ state which would cause front-facing DN LED to be Red

Blinking Red/Green:

GPS is initializing or attempting a recovery (may occur following a power dip)
This counts as a ‘failed’ state which would cause front-facing DN LED to be Red

Blinking Green:

Low Precision / 2D GPS Fix, attempting 3D GPS Fix

Solid Green:

GPS Fix achieved with good precision

Cell LED

The Cell LED indicates the AMG-C Cellular connection state.

Off:

Power Off

Solid Red:

During Startup – Initial state, not yet initializing (occurs briefly during startup)
After Startup – Indicates Cellular connectivity failure (may occur following a power dip)
This counts as a ‘failed’ state which would cause front-facing DN LED to be Red

Blinking Red/Green:

Cellular modem is initializing or attempting a recovery (may occur following a power dip)
This counts as a ‘failed’ state which would cause front-facing DN LED to be Red

Blinking Green:

End-to-end cellular test in progress (end-to-end connectivity will periodically be tested while AMG-C is running)

Solid Green:

End-to-end cellular test is passed, good connectivity

BT LED

The BT LED indicates the AMG-C Bluetooth connection state.

Off:

Power Off

Solid Red:

During Startup – Initial state, not yet initializing (occurs briefly during startup)
After Startup – Indicates Bluetooth chip failure (may occur following a power dip)
This counts as a ‘failed’ state which would cause front-facing DN LED to be Red

Blinking Red/Green:

Bluetooth chip is initializing or attempting a recovery (may occur following a power dip)
This counts as a ‘failed’ state which would cause front-facing DN LED to be Red

Blinking Green:

Bluetooth is initialized, but device is not paired

Solid Green:

Bluetooth device is paired

WiFi LED

The WiFi LED indicates the AMG-C WiFi connection state.

Off:

Power Off

Solid Red:

During Startup – Initial state, not yet initializing (occurs briefly during startup)
After Startup – Indicates WiFi chip failure (may occur following a power dip)
This counts as a ‘failed’ state which would cause front-facing DN LED to be Red

Blinking Red/Green:

WiFi chip is initializing or attempting a recovery (may occur following a power dip)
This counts as a ‘failed’ state which would cause front-facing DN LED to be Red

Blinking Green:

WiFi is initialized, ready for connection

Solid Green:

WiFi is connected(either AMG-C is connected to an access point, or a device is connected to the AMG-C hotspot)
